May 5, 2020 - Dry Food Distribution

In collaboration with the “Indipalegoda Ananonya Aid Society,” OSDASA organised an event for distributing dry food to 130 families affected by COVID-19 in the “Indipalegoda” village. Two bags of goods, about 10 kg., were handed over to each family.

Following commodities were given to each family:
 

• 2 kg of rice
• 1 kg of dhal
• 1 can of Salmon
• 1 kg of flour
• 1 kg of big onions
• 1 kg of potatoes
• 50 grams of tea
• 100 grams of chili powder
• 250 grams of dry sprouts
• 1 kg of white sugar
• 1 face mask
• 1 card of Panadol
• 1 packet of Samoposa
• 2 bars of soap 

Nethmi Weerakoon, Menuka Athukorala, Hansi Gajanayake, and Hasindu Gajanayake were involved in organising the event.
