In her “Kichupudi Rangapravesam” dancing graduation ceremony held on August 4, 2012 at the Clear Lake campus of University of Houston in Houston, Texas, United States, the Youth Coordinator of OSDASA, Hansi Gajanayake, took the opportunity to raise $1,000 for OSDASA from her well wishers. According to Hansi’s wish, $500 each was donated to two rural schools in Sri Lanka for two projects:

 

1. $500 was donated to buy 100 school bags for all children in the G/Bangamukanda School.
2. $500 was donated to provide three gates to the G/Walpola Gunathilake School.

Both projects were completed with ceremonies at both schools, held in January 2013.
